MUMBAI, July 13: Torrential rains in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra continued unabated today, throwing out of gear rail and road traffic for the second consecutive day and the toll in rain-related incidents mounting to 72 since last Saturday. In Mumbai, 40 people, including 6 women and ten girls, were killed in a landslide last evening at Chirag Nagar in Ghatkopar area of North-East Mumbai.....more

JAMMU, July 13: An indefinite curfew was clamped in Leh town last night as tension flared up following the killing of three Buddhist monks by some unidentified persons at Rungdum near Panikar on Zanskar-Kargil road.
