NOTICE

Applications on the prescribed Application form are invited for the two posts of Yoga Instructors for Yoga Centre of the University of Jammu. Prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Assistant Registrar (Forms and Stay.) personally or by sending Crossed Indian Postal Orders or Bank Draft worth Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Jammu-180006 encashable at Jammu Post Office/Bank from 1.1.2000. Both are tenure posts. The Yoga Instructors will be paid @ Rs. 6000/- (Rupees Six thousand) only per month as fixed honorarium. Applications on the prescribed application form accompanied by copies of qualifications, testimonials, publications and a recent passport size photograph should be sent to the Registrar, University of Jammu (Tawi) 180006 J&K State, so as to reach him on or before January 20, 2000. The applications of the Government servants if not routed through proper channels are liable to be rejected.

Applications received late or on plain paper or incomplete in any respect will not be entertained.

Qualifications

The candidates should possess atleast one year Diploma in Yoga from eminent and well established Yoga Institutes of the country. Experienced and higher qualified candidates in Yoga will be given preference. The minimum academic qualification is graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

The terms and conditions of appointment of candidates as Yoga Instructors shall be governed by the guidelines under the UGC scheme for promotion of Yoga Education and practice in Universities for the IXth plan period.

The candidates invited for interview will have to present themselves before the Selection Committee at Jammu on their own cost.

Sealed tenders are invited for supply of under mentioned quantity of various fresh ration items - Meat on Hoof, Chicken Live, Eggs, Vegetables fresh, Onions, Potatoes and fruits fresh for the period of six months with effect from 1.4.2000 to 30.9.2000 from authorised wholesale dealers/Traders/Central or State Government agencies, with valid trade license, and engaged in sale of Meat on Hoof (M.O.H.), Chicken live, Eggs, Fruits, Vegetables fresh including tubers, onions and Potatoes,to the I.T.B. Police Units deployed in Kashmir Valley of J&K State.

3. Tender forms containing terms and conditions may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Inspector General (J&K-I), ITB Police, Sector Headquarters, PO: Panthachowk, Srinagar (J&KM) OR Incharge Transit Camp, ITB Police, behind Railway Station, Jammu (J&K) on payment of Rs 200/- in cash or by Bank Draft drawn in favour of Commandant Staff (J&K-I), ITB Police, payable at State Bank of India, Srinagar (Code 0722) by hand on any working day on or before 31-1-2000 positively.
4. The tenderers shall have to attach with tenders Earnest Money Deposit of an amount equal to 2% (Two per cent) of the total value of their offer and other documents as per instructions contained in the tender form. The tenders received without earnest money deposit and required documents will be summarily ignored. Tenders duly filled in along with necessary documents and Earnest Money Deposit in sealed envelope superscribed on the top "Tender no.", "date of opening tender" and "Tender for supply of meat on hoof, chicken live, eggs, vegetables and fruits fresh" should reach the office of the Deputy Inspector General (J&K-I), ITB Police, Panthachowk, Srinagar (J&K) on or before 2-2-2000 at 1000 A.M. by hand or by dak. However, the department will not be responsible for postal delay whatsoever and no claim will be entertained. The Tenders received after the prescribed date and time will be summarily ignored.
5. Tenders will be opened on 2-2-2000 at 1100 A.M. in the presence of Tenderers or their authorised representative(s) who wish to be present.
6. The Deputy Inspector General (J&K-I)/Commandant Staff (J&K-I) is not bound to accept lowest or any tender and reserves the right to accept offer for all the items or some of the items for full quantity or for part thereof at their discretion and also reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders without assigning any reason. The conditional tenders will also be ignored summarily.
7. During the currency or on establishment of contract, the purchaser reserves the right to decrease or increase upto 25 per cent of the supply in full or part thereof and place order of the same to the successful tenderer(s) and the tenderer(s) will be bound to supply the items.
