Vajpayee attacks Pak for derailing Lahore process

Prime Minister Atal Bihari VajpayeePANIPAT, Feb 20 : On the first anniversary of his Lahore initiative, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today attacked Pakistan for derailing the peace process with India and asserted that talks with Islamabad could take place only if Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) was vacated. A year after undertaking the historic bus journey to Lahore seeking to open a new chapter in Indo-Pak relations, Vajpayee said it was Pakistan which has dashed the hand of friendship when exactly this day a year ago the bus journey was undertaken. The remarks by Vajpayee, made at an election rally here, came a day after Pakistan Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar’s offer for resuming the Lahore peace process with India..........more

JK Govt,Centre may confront on autonomy,says Omar
