Hashim QureshiNEW DELHI, Dec 29: Pledging his full support to Centre’s peace initiative in Jammu and Kashmir, Hashim Qureshi, founding member of JKLF, who hijacked an Indian Airlines plane to Pakistan in 1971, made a dramatic return to India today after 30 years of exile, and was arrested after a four hour-long drama at Delhi airport. Fortyseven-year old Srinagar-born Qureshi flew into the capital by a Scandinavian Airlines flight from Copenhagen and surrendered to the Immigration authorities, who after four hours handed him over to Delhi Police. Hurriyat has no credentials in Kashmir: Kukka Parray

Kukka ParrayJAMMU, Dec 29: Jammu and Kashmir Awami League supremo and Member Assembly, Jamsheed Sheerazi, alias Kukka Parray has asserted that Hurriyat Conference has no credentials in Kashmir and cannot in any case decide about the future of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have been infact facing the worst phase of history only due to the follies of Hurriyat leaders. The Hurriyat has no locus standee and they represent nobody in Kashmir, Mr Kukka Parray said while talking to EXCELSIOR here today. He suggested that the Centre should reject Hurriyat leaders outrightly and there was no need to talk to any of the secessionist forces on Kashmir, as Kashmir is part and parcel of India and its fate has been decided way back in 1947 with India........more
