of the Prime Minister Atal Behari
Vajpayees unilateral
ceasefire in Kashmir, militants
today caused two more cycle bomb
explosions in Baramulla district
in which four persons got killed
and 19 other injured. Militants
have also shot dead three
civilians in Kupwara, Ganderbal

with the Government indicate that the
Hizbul Mujahideen receives a major share
of funds from Pakistans
Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) for
militant activities. This information was
given by the Defence Minister, Mr George
Fernandes, in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
Answering a question by Mr Madhavrao
Scindia, Mr Fernandes divulged that six
other militant outfits were also
receiving funds from the ISI for
sustaining terrorist activities in Jammu

demolition of Babri Masjid as a
"heinous crime", ruling NDA
ally Trinamool Congress today asserted in
the Lok Sabha that it would not allow the
Government to compromise with secular
principles or deviate from the national
agenda which excludes contentious issues
like Ayodhya. "Demolition of the
Masjid was barbaric and a heinous crime.
