Sealed Tenders affixed with Revenue Stamps worth Rs.2 are invited on behalf of the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir State from the manufacturers, authorised distributors/dealers, for the supply of 1(one) Lac of Printed Computer Assessment Slips-cum-Gate Passes, required for the Sales Tax Check Post, Lakhanpur, as per sample available at this centre, except that Base would be plain white and without Logo and as per prescribed text and shades of printing.

The tenders should be addressed to the U/S and must reach on or before 04/12/2000 (2 P.M.) through registered/speed post or by hand, which shall be opened by the Departmental Purchase Committee on the next working day at 11 A.M or on any subsequent working day to be intimated accordingly, in presence of such tenderers or their representatives who may wish to be present.

Terms & Conditions:

1. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all Levis, taxes, freight and transport charges etc. etc. and shall be F.O.R Sales Tax Check Post Lakhanpur.

2. The samples can be seen at this centre at any time during the working hours on all working days upto the last date of sumission of offers.

3. The quantity shown above is approximate and can be increased or decreased at the discretion of the officer placing the order.

4. Tenders must be accompanied with the earnest money deposit for an amount @ 2% of the total value or amount offered, in the shape of a bank FDR/CDR, pledged to the u/s without which no tender shall be entertained.

5. The earnest money received from the successful tenderers shall be treated security deposit and shall be released only after satisfactory execution of the job whereas that from the unsuccessful tenderers shall be released within one week from the finalization of the tender.

6. The successful tenderer shall be required to make the supply within 15 days from the receipt of supply order.

7. The Departmental Purchase Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any of the tender without assigning any reason thereof.

Acution will be held as and where is basis:-

Terms and conditions of the acution:-

1. Every bidder will have to deposit Rs. 5000 (Rs. Five thousand only) with the under signed as earnest money before commencement of auction. The amount will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders.

2. The interested party/person may inspect the Vehicle upto 15.12.2000 at 0945 hrs.

3. After fall of hammer successful bidder will pay full amount of bid in cash within one hour, failing which earnest money deposited will be forfeited and successful bidder shall have no right on auctioned Vehicles Spare parts. Cheque will not be accepted.

4. Commandant 11th Bn ITB Police Forces or Officer authorised by him reserves the right to reject the highest bid without assigning any reason.

5. Sales Tax will be charged extra as per rule.

Non C.P.W.D. contractors should submit at the time of applying for tenders a certificate from appropriate authorities of having completed satisfactorily three similar works each costing not less than Rs. 46.76 lakhs and Rs. 42.46 lakhs individually for work at S.No. 1 and 2 respectively during the last five years. (Similar work for this case means building work). All the tenderers must produce valid Registration and Income Tax Clearance Certificate in the latest prescribed form before tender papers can be sold to them.

The tender forms will be issued on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Non-Refundable) in cash between 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days upto last date of application for each tender.

Earnest Money in the manner prescribed in NIT conditions (unless exempted) should accompany the tender. The tender of the Contractor which does not accompany Earnest Money in the prescribed manner or proof of exemption of earnest money, (In separate envelope) shall not be opened. The tender in which any condition including that of conditional rebate is put forth by the tenderer shall be summarily rejected. However, un-conditional rebates shall be accepted.
