case with free software - often called
‘freeware’ - available on the
internet. There’s a lot of it out
there. But there’s one problem: On
the internet, finding sites that feature
only software that’s totally free -
without nag screens or trial periods - is

Apr 22: Defence Minister
George Fernandes today regretted  that Pakistan has
failed to heed to US President Bill
Clinton’s advice against sponsoring
cross border terrorism in Jammu and
Kashmir and did not rule out stepped up
militancy in the state this summer. Asked
whether Pakistan had heeded
Clinton’s advice, he told reporters
here there was no indication that it had
had any effect. It only showed that
Pakistan is not prepared to listen to
friendly advice from one of its friends,
