NOTIFICATION

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the J&K Services Selection Board, is going to conduct the interview of all eligible candidates who have applied for the post of Mechanic/Mistry, borne on Divisional Cadre Jammu advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 6 of 2005 dated 21-11-2005 as per schedule and details appended as Annexure-A to this Notification.
The Shortlist of all eligible candidates those who fall within the shortlisting criteria appended as Annexure- 'B' to this Notification are advised to appear before the Selection Committee for conducting interview on the scheduled date, time and venue alongwith all their original certificates/documents as required vide above said advertisement Notice.
Candidates belonging to reserved category should produce at the time of interview his/her valid category certificate issued before the last date for filing of application as fixed in the relevant Advertisement Notice.
The call letters are also being sent to the eligible candidates separately from this office through U.P.C (Divisional Office, I-DC near Green Belt Park, Gandhi Nagar Jammu ). The J&K Services Selection Board however bears no responsibility for non-receipt/late receipt of call letter by the candidates.
It is further notified for the information of the eligible candidates that the mere receipt of call letter does not entitle them to appear for the interview and any deficiency found at the time of interview process or subsequently will be treated as disqualification for appearing for interview/consideration for selection.
It is also notified for the information of the candidate that the additional qualification/reserved category certificate which are issued after the last date of receipt of application forms shall not be entertained at this stage.
No TA/DA will be payable to the candidates.

Eligibility:-
1. Candidates should be permanent Resident of J&K State.
2. On 01-01-2006, should not be:-
I) Below the age of 18 years.
II) Above the age of 37 years in case of General/RBA Category Candidates.
III) Above the age of 40 years in case of SC/ST Candidates.
IV) Above the age of 39 years in case of physically challenged candidates.
V) Above the age of 48 years in case of Ex-Servicemen.
3. Should possess the minimum 8th pass academic qualification and fulfill all other conditions of eligibility as on date of issue of advertisement.
4. Application form dully filled in along with one attested passport size photograph pasted thereon should be accompanied by the attested true copies of:-

a. Certificate of Permanent residence. (PRC)
b. Date of Birth Certificate countersigned by the concerned Zonal Education officer in respect of Middle pass candidates having passed 8th class from Govt. Middle Schools or recognized Private Schools.
c. Copies of other academic/Technical Certificates if any including marks sheet dully attested by Gazetted officer.
d. Certificate of belonging to a reserved category issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format which should be valid on the date of submission of the application.
e. Certificate of disability as per prescribed format with photograph pasted thereof indicating degree of disability.
f. Any other Certificate relied upon as indicated in the application form and.
g. Self Addrssed envelop dully stamped.

Explanation

The horizontal reservation for Ex-service man and physically handicapped person to the extent of 6% and 3% respectively which would mean the reservation which would cut across the vertical reservation and the person selected shall have to be placed in the appropriate category by making necessary adjustments.

Note:-
1. One candidate should submit only one application form to the respective depositing center.
2. The vacancies are tentative and subject to further confirmation by the concern Departments. The application found incomplete in any manner will be rejected with out assigning any reasons to the applicant.

Selection Procedure:-

The last date for the receipt of applications shall be the cut off dae for determining the eligibility in respect of qualification, category certificates and any other relevant documents. The age limit is however determinable with reference to the 1st January of the year 2006.
The prescribed qualification reflects the bare minimum requirement of the job and mere possession of this qualification does not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. The selection committee reserves the right to short list the panel of the candidates for the interview on the basis of academic merit and qualification.
Ordinarily the committee will issue call letters to the eligibile short listed candidates falling within the criteria that may be fixed for the purpose, specifying the venue and date for interview, which shall also be given wide publicity through print and electronic media. Candidates are advised to keep in touch in their own interest with the print and electronic media and also with the offices where they deposited their applications to ascertain the venue/date of interview as the committee shall not entertain any claim for non-receipt/belated receipt of call letters by any candidate for any reasons what so ever.
A candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated/tempered documents/testimonials or making any incorrect statement or suppressing material information, may in addition to rendering him/her liable for criminal prosecution, be debarred permanently, or for a specified period from being considered for any recruitment by the Committee. Canvassing/lobbing in any form will entail disqualification of the candidate concerned.
No TA/DA will be paid for participation in the interview/test.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the J&K Services Selection Board is going to conduct the interview of all eligible candidates those who have applied for the post of Dental Assistant borne on District Cadre Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Doda and Jr. Librarian borne on District Cadre Rajouri, Udhampur, Doda advertised vide Advertisement Notices No. 6 of 2005 dated 21.11.2005 as per schedule and details appended as Annexure-A to this Notification.
The shortlisted candidates appended as "Annexure "B" to this notification are advised to appear before the Selection Committee constituted for conducting interview on the scheduled date, time and venue alongwith all their original certificates/documents as required vide above said advertisement Notice referred to above.

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the J&K Services Selection Board, is going to conduct the interview of all eligible candidates those who have applied for the post of Draftsman (Mechanical) borne Divisional Cadre Jammu advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 7 of 2005 dated 29-11-2005 (Item No. 03) as per schedule and details appended as Annexure-A to this Notification.
The list of all eligible candidates appended as Annexure- 'B' to this Notification are advised to appear before the Selection Committee for conducting interview on the scheduled date, time and venue alongwith all their original certificates/documents as required vide above said advertisement Notice referred to above.
A candidates belonging to reserved category viz RBA, S.C, ST & ALC, should produce at the time of interview his valid category certificate issued before the last date for filing of application as fixed in the relevant Advertisement Notice.
